The force of gravity acting on a body is equal to the product of its mass by the acceleration of gravity and is expressed by the formula – F heavy = mg, where F heavy is the force of gravity, m is the mass of the body, g is the acceleration of gravity.
Its dimension is expressed in (kg * m) / s² or in N (“newtons”).
Accordingly, in our example, for a body weighing 2 kg, the force of gravity will be – 2 kg * 9.8 m / s² = 19.6 N.
For a body weighing 500 g or 0.5 kg, the force of gravity will be – 0.5 kg * 9.8 m / s² = 4.9 N.
And finally, for a body weighing 3 kg, the force of gravity will be – 3 kg * 9.8 m / s² = 29.4 N.
