What is the function of the whisk?

1.) The main function of the corolla, which is all the petals of the flower that make up the inner part of the double perianth, is to protect the generative or reproductive organs of the plant during flowering.
2.) In the vast majority of flowers, it is the corolla that is the most noticeable part of the plant, which attracts various pollinating insects, whose help is necessary for full cross-pollination.
3.) The corolla also protects the pistil and stamens. For example, on hot days, reflecting part of the spectrum of the sun’s rays, the corolla prevents the pistil and stamens from overheating, and at night, closing its petals, prevents them from overcooling, and also perishing if cold rain or dew falls.
