This is a rather difficult time, these were the last years when Joseph Stalin was still at the helm of the country. The greatness was in the fact that in just a decade the country managed to restore all the main components of the economy. However, in parallel with these successes in the socio-economic space, the situation in the political field has not changed. New rounds of repression began, which, among other things, was aggravated by the situation in the foreign policy arena – the Cold War began to gain momentum, which led to the desire to overtake its enemies in weapons and heavy equipment.
