Respiratory organs are of great importance in the life of the body. Also, the respiratory organs take part in voice formation, sense of smell, water-salt and lipid metabolism, in the production of certain hormones. In the nasal cavity, when air enters it, it is purified, warmed, and moistened. There also occurs the perception of temperature, mechanical, olfactory stimuli due to receptors.
