What is the instructive meaning of the Flood legend?

The parable of the Flood is based on a biblical story.

As punishment for violation of the laws of life, murder and violence, moral fall, God sends a worldwide flood to the earth. Terrible streams of water hit people and many died.

And only Noah remained faithful to the Creator. An instructive meaning lies in the memory of the earthly paradise where the ancestors lived, of the purity of human feelings, views, thoughts and actions.

Then the joy of being will return to earth.
