What is the main daily rite in all religions?

The fundamental daily rite, one way or another characteristic of all religions, is prayer. Prayer is an appeal to God (gods) with a request, thanksgiving or praise (praise). Can be spoken aloud or mentally. Each religion has its own forms of prayer – it can be accompanied by a sacrifice or certain movements (bows, the sign of the cross, etc.). Also, the prayer can be set to music and sung (including the accompaniment of a musical instrument).
