What is the main difference between a dandelion leaf and a rosehip leaf?

The dandelion leaf is simple, elongated and consists of one whole leaf plate; the rose hips have complex, pinnate leaves. Dandelion leaves without petioles – they are called sessile. The rose hips have petioles – therefore the leaves are called petiolate, the last leaf has no pair. In a dandelion, the venation is pointed-elliptical, in a dog-rose it is reticulate.
