Located in the southernmost part of the planet Earth. Therefore, it is so cold there, large glaciers float. Plus there the polar day can last up to 180 days, and the night is the same.
Antarctica is remote from islands and continents, therefore it is surrounded by seas and oceans. For example, the second largest Atlantic Ocean, the world’s largest Pacific Ocean and the third largest Indian Ocean. Interestingly, according to Wikipedia, there are now about 5,000 people living there.
