What is the name of an organism that has developed as a result of crossing genetically heterogeneous individuals?

An organism obtained as a result of crossing genetically different parental forms is called a hybrid (from Latin hibrida, hybrida – a cross between).
This organism can be both unicellular (for example: algae, bacteria or fungi) and multicellular. Most often, the concept of hybrid is found in botany – most modern agricultural plants are hybrids. But there are those among animals. The most famous in zoology are hybrids: a dog-wolf, a liger and a tiger, a mule (a cross between a donkey and a mare) and others.
