What is the name of the national dance of Greece?

Most consider Sirtaki to be the national Greek dance, but this is not entirely true. This dance and music was invented for the film “Zorba the Greek” in 1964. After the release of the film, it became very popular. One of the most popular folk dances in Greece is zeybekiko – the dance of the Thracian Greeks. There are also many others: Kalamatianos, Karaguna, Koftos, Hasapiko, Hasapareviko, Kleftikos, Hora, Tsamikos, Tsakonis, Siganos, Sirtos, Lazos, Stiakos, Tik, Mikraki, Sera, Trigona, Sta tria, Omal, etc.
