What is the name of the strait between Asia and America?

This strait bears the name of the famous Russian navigator Viteus Bering, who discovered it in 1728.
Its smallest width is about 86 kilometers. It connects the extreme eastern point of the Chukchi Peninsula – Cape Semyon Dezhnev, which 80 years earlier passed through this strait from the Arctic Ocean to the Pacific, from one of the extreme points of Alaska – the coastal city of Wales.
This strait separates the continent of Eurasia and North America, and also serves as a passage from the Arctic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean.
