What is the nature of the forces of intermolecular interaction?

All molecules are made up of atoms. The atom, according to the planetary model, consists of a positive charged nucleus around which electrons revolve. Atoms has a displaced electric field, on one side of the positive charge of the nucleus, on the other side of negative electrons, the atoms form a dipole. The sides of atoms with the same sign repel, the sides of atoms with different signs attract.
Intermolecular forces are of an electrostatic nature of interaction.
