Studying the inheritance of traits in humans is not as convenient as in animals, and here’s why:
1) Analytical crossings should not be carried out. This violates ethical norms, in addition, a person develops for a very long time, and several years may pass from the moment of crossing to the manifestation of a trait. For the same reason, hybridization is prohibited, because in this case, recessive mutations are manifested.
2) It is impossible to relatively quickly trace the inheritance of a trait in a number of generations, again, due to long development.
In humans, pedigrees are analyzed to establish the inheritance of traits, karyotyping is done and other similar methods are used.
