What is the political structure of Italy?

After the unification of the Italian lands on the Apennine Peninsula into one state, Italy became a kingdom. It was a constitutional monarchy. At the same time, it had a number of features. The main force was still essentially the king, but at the same time there was also parliament, which shared legislative power with the king. It consisted of two chambers.
