What is the principle of interaction between a virus and a cell?

Viruses have no cellular structure. They mainly consist of genetic information and a protein coat. All viruses are parasites. They enter the cell and begin to parasitize there. Outside of cells, viruses are dormant. They show no sign of life. Only inside the cell do they begin to feed, multiply, secrete some substances, and so on. The cell suffers from such cohabitation, so it has lysosomes that destroy viruses that enter the cytoplasm.
