What is the principle of the integrity of a living organism based on?

Any living organism is an integral living system. On the example of a person, one can make sure that the body consists of organ systems, which, in turn, are made of tissues, and tissues are made of cells. In this case, all elements interact with each other. If some cells are damaged, it will not be able to destroy the entire system, but damage to individual tissues and organs can destroy the entire body. Thus, cardiac arrest or abnormal liver function can cause death of the body. This proves the position of the integrity of the organism.
