What is the process of plant evolution associated with?

The evolutionary history of plants is a more complex process, from algae, through mosses, moss and ferns, to complex gymnosperms and angiosperms. While more and more primitive plants continue to thrive, especially at home, each new level of organization develops new capabilities that allow the plant to better adapt to new conditions.

The most recent evolution is the evolution of herbs, a group that became important in the middle of the Tertiary, about 40 million years ago. Herbs, like many other groups, have created new metabolic mechanisms to survive in relatively low CO2 levels and in the dry, warm conditions of the tropics over the past 10 million years.
