What is the reason for the war between Russia and Turkey?

The reasons for the series of military conflicts between the Russian Empire and the Port were the division of spheres of influence in the Mediterranean, Caspian and Western Asia. In addition, most of the conflicts of the state were due to territorial disputes over the Crimean Peninsula, the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles.

Both states tried to mutually weaken each other both territorially and economically. Russia most of all “pressed” on the Balkan Slavic population, and the Turks – on the regions of the Caucasus and Asia.
