What is the regime of the Amazon River?

The climate of the territories of the South American continent, through which the Amazon flows, is very humid, there are rainy seasons. Local rivers are fed mainly by rainfall. About two hundred rivers flow into the Amazon, being its tributaries and bringing it a huge amount of water, and so much so that it is considered one of the deepest rivers on the planet. Heavy rainfall also enriches the river with water. Thanks to the deep river basin, it is the most important transport route.
