What is the relationship between the concepts of symbiosis and mycorrhiza (fungal root)?

Symbiosis is a form of mutually beneficial cohabitation of living organisms belonging to various systematic categories – kingdoms. For example, the roots of leguminous plants and nitrogen-fixing bacteria, as well as blue-green algae and fungi in the thallus of a lichen. An example of symbiosis is the connection of the mycelium of the fungus with the roots of seed woody plants. This form of cohabitation is called mycorrhiza or fungal root.
