What is the Renaissance?

The Renaissance is an era that lasted in Europe from the 13th to the 16th century. Until that time, i.e. in the Middle Ages, in Europe there was a society that completely relied on religion and lost touch with ancient art and science. During the Renaissance, people began to recreate the cultural values of the ancient Greeks and Romans. First of all, this influenced the worldview: if before that God was located in the center of the Universe, now man has taken his place. This was reflected in the art and philosophy of almost all European countries.
