What is the role in international relations of the XVI-XVII centuries. Did the Ottoman Empire play?

The Ottoman Empire during that period (from 1500 to 1700) was one of the most influential states in the world. Until 1683, the Ottoman Turks were expanding to the north (Right-Bank Ukraine), to the west (to Vienna), to the east (to the western part of Persia, that is, Hamadan, for example), in the south (to Aden). Turkish merchants even penetrated as far as Sumatra in the east.
At the end of the 16th century, signs of a crisis appeared in the economy of the Ottoman Empire, and after 1683, the surrender of positions in the west and north began (in 1696, Peter I took Azov, although after 18 years he was forced to return it).
