What is the role of a person in society?

Can we live without society, hiding on a desert island? Perhaps we will get food for ourselves, build a hut from branches, even tame a wild monkey. But will our life become complete? Perhaps living alone is boring and uninteresting. Without society, man again turns into a primitive monkey, which only cares about satisfying his basic needs. The person is the most important unit of society. And each unit has a specific function. Each person should have an occupation through which he benefits the whole society.
