What is the role of autotrophic organisms in the community?

Autotrophs are called living organisms capable of converting inorganic substances into organic ones. Living things that are autotrophs always occupy the first stage in the food chain. Without their participation, no one would have created organic substances. This means that food would not exist, and, accordingly, life, in the form that we perceive, would not exist. Thus, we can conclude that autotrophs are a very important component of living nature, which provide all other creatures with organic compounds for growth and development.
