What is the role of the Bolsheviks in the crises of the interim government?

During the period of dual power, there were two bodies of power: the Provisional Government and the Soviets. The provisional government announced an amnesty for political prisoners, and in April 1917 the Bolshevik leaders returned to Petrograd. Taking advantage of the dissatisfaction of Russian society with Russia’s participation in the First World War, the Bolsheviks provoked anti-war protests. The Provisional Government stood by its position of continuing the war to a victorious end and fulfilling its obligations to its allies in the Entente. The people are tired of the protracted war, which brought great losses. It was this confrontation between the people and the authorities that the Bolsheviks took advantage of. Crises ended with the creation of one or another coalition government. As a result, this led to anarchy and helped the Bolsheviks to seize power.
