What is the significance of forest birds?

First, birds protect forests from parasites – caterpillars, beetles, and other insects. Whereas predators (such as owls and eagle owls) control the number of mice and rats that can cause serious damage to the roots and trunks of trees. Secondly, by eating or hiding seeds for the winter, birds carry them over long distances, allowing trees to germinate in new territories.
