What is the significance of the peasant war?

The first significant change was the life of the Cossacks.
There were attempts to reform them from a temporary Cossack army into a permanent one. The high ranks of the Cossacks became nobles and received land and serfs.
The second significant change is the liberation of the Urals from endless attempts to make the local population serfs.
