What is the significance of the tilt of the earth’s axis?

The fact that the Earth is tilted about its axis primarily affects the temperature and seasonality of the planet’s climate. Because of the tilt, either the southern part or the northern part turn out to be directed towards the Sun, and from this, during half a year, one side receives more heat than the other. As a result, the temperature on the planet changes throughout the year. Also, the seasons on the two hemispheres start at different times. If there was no tilt, the planet’s climate would be stable all year round.
