What is the structure of mucor? How does it reproduce?

The mycelium of mucor consists of only one highly overgrown and branched cell with many nuclei in the cytoplasm. Some mycelium filaments rise up and expand at the ends. Spores form in these black, glans-like extensions. These heads are called sporangia.

Mucor propagates by scraps of mycelium or spores.
