What is the structure of the mucor mushroom?

Mukor mushroom belongs to the genus of molds. It develops both on certain foods and in the soil. The spores of the fungus are located in sporangia, which are shaped like a sphere. Sporangia are found on sporangiophores – elongated hyphae with non-weak branching. The mycelium of mucor is not divided by partitions, but is a multinucleated cell with many branches. Mycelium filaments are transparent and very thin, so the mold initially looks like white fluff. Mukor is able to reproduce both sexually and asexually – with the help of sporangiospores.
