What is the symbiosis of mycelium and tree roots called?

Most fungi are incapable of forming organic matter, so they need to be supplied from the outside. For this purpose, very often, fungi enter into symbiosis with higher plants, that is, trees, which is called mycorrhiza. With mycorrhiza, the mycorrhiza entwines the roots of the plant, pulling minerals and water to them, and releasing substances similar to antibiotics, which prevents the tree from the appearance of various diseases. A tree with mycorrhiza “gives” organic substances to the fungus, which it produces by photosynthesis.
