ANS is one of the parts of the nervous system that is responsible for the activity of internal organs.
It is the autonomic nervous system that preserves the constancy of the human body, internal organs, etc., is responsible for their work. (Since this nervous system is not subject to our control, it is also called autonomous).
ANS is divided into two sections: 1) Sympathetic (lumbar-thoracic); 2) Parasympathetic, in which there are subdivisions: midbrain, medulla oblongata, sacral.
