What is the voltage across a 100 ohm coil if the current is 50 mA?

As we know from the school physics curriculum, voltage can be calculated using the following formula:
U = I * R, I is the current in a specific section, R is the resistance in a specific section.
Let us determine what value the coil voltage will equal, if from the condition of our problem we know for sure that with a current strength of 50 mA, the resistance is 100 Ohm:
50 mA = 0.05A;
0.05 * 100 = 5.
Answer: Under these conditions, the voltage will be 5 V
