What is true and what is fiction in the legend of the Minotaur?

The truth in the legend of the Minotaur is that one of the kings of Crete ordered to build and it was built a gigantic structure Labyrinth, consisting of a huge number of rooms and passages. According to legend, a half-bull-half-human Minotaur lived in the Labyrinth, but in reality this was not the end – there is no such hybrid of a man and a bull as the Minotaur. True, due to radiation, children may be born, similar to the legendary hero of myths, but they are not viable and grow up and cannot live at all. The Minotaur is a fairy tale, an invented character.
