What judicial privileges did Roman citizens have?

A citizen of Rome in different periods of the existence of the Roman Republic had a certain set of rights that determined his place and his legal possibilities in Roman society. Such rights related not only to civil life, but also to issues of military service, which, in addition to everything, could affect other rights of a citizen (such as marriage – during military service it was prohibited).
