What kind of human impact on nature can be considered the most ancient?

Man has always influenced other living organisms. Since ancient times, people have been collecting various berries and roots for food. Further, when a person learned to use improvised means and create weapons, people began to hunt animals. These were mainly large animals, since they were easier to track down, they could feed the whole flock and it was easier to catch them. So gathering and hunting are the most ancient types of human influence on nature. Now humanity can destroy or create entire species of animals.
