What kinds of human activities are allowed on the territory of Antarctica?

Antarctica does not belong to any state, it is a continent of international cooperation. Here, only scientific research activities are permitted at permanent and seasonal scientific stations. Physicists, biologists, hydrologists, meteorologists work on them, who study the ice sheet, the relief of the continent, climatic features, life in coastal waters. All of humanity uses the results of these studies.
Recently, Antarctica has become a tourist destination, but tourist facilities are not being built on the mainland itself. Tourists live on ships that approach the shores of Antarctica.
