What methods are used to study human heredity?

Nowadays, geneticists use 5 different methods to study heredity, these include the following methods
Genealogical – analyzes the patterns of an individual’s traits, taking as a basis his pedigree.
Twin – the study of the characteristics of each of the identical twins.
Cytogenetic – the study of chromosomes and their morphology, chemical and structural organization, functions and behavior in the cells of the body.
Population (statistical) – a study of the hereditary characteristics of peoples.
Biochemical – the study of the influence and role of amino acids, minerals, lipids and carbohydrates on the development of the body and congenital pathologies.
