Mixtures are substances composed of two or more forms of a substance. You can separate them by physical methods. Examples include a solution of salt and water, a mixture of sugar and water, various gases, air, etc. In any mixture, the various components are not combined with any chemical changes. Therefore, the components do not lose their individual properties.
Based on their composition, they can be classified into two types: homogeneous and heterogeneous. Mixes that have a homogeneous composition are called homogeneous mixtures. Mixtures that are not homogeneous are called heterogeneous.
