What mountains in North America resemble the Ural Mountains in height, structure and shape of peaks?

Among all the mountains in North America, the Appalachians have the greatest resemblance to the Ural Mountains. These mountains are also low, formed in the same era as the Ural Mountains, older than other mountains on the mainland (Cordillera, Rocky Mountains, etc.), therefore, they are also destroyed, and the maximum height barely exceeds 2000 meters.
