Ancient Egypt was characterized by a warm climate, due to which the temperature level was convenient for various cultures. Also, the Egyptians settled in the valley of the Nile River, and the presence of such a source of water could not but affect the development of agriculture. An important feature of exactly Egyptian agriculture was the presence of alluvial soils that formed after the flood of the Nile. The river silt settled on the soil, and it became much more fertile.
