The nervous system is divided into 2 types:
-Central (spinal cord and brain)
-Peripheral (nerve nodes and endings)
According to the classification, the nervous system is divided into:
-Vegetative (controls the work of internal organs)
-Somatic (controls the work of skeletal muscles)
The autonomic nervous system is divided into 2 sections:
-Sympathetic (triggered when a person is in an active state)
-Parasympathetic (works when a person is in a calm state).
