What new genres and ideas appeared in oral folk art in the 13-14th century?

At that time, the epic heroic epic was able to flourish in oral folk art. The authors recalled the glorious past of ancient Russia. Stories about Kiev, about Prince Vladimir, about heroes – embodied the unity of Russia. In addition to the epic heroic epic, historical songs appear in oral folk art. So the heroes of the historical song, in contrast to the heroic epic, were not rulers or heroes, but ordinary people. The songs told about their exploits, heroism, fate and feelings. This can be explained by the fact that people even at that time remembered well the events associated with the struggle against the horde and the exploits of ordinary people.
