What orders did the monks have?

The monks had many orders. Augustines, alexians, basilians, white fathers, benedictines, bonifrats, hospitallers, dominicans, jesuits, cammilians, carmelites, teutonic order. This is not a complete list. The orders existed at different times. Their activities were aimed at achieving certain goals, and the name usually comes from the name of a biblical character or events that are described in the Bible. The names of the founders of the orders in large numbers have survived to our time. The founders were church leaders.
