What organisms are included in the kingdom of mushrooms?

Fungi are eukaryotic organisms that combine the traits of both plants and animals – they represent a separate kingdom of over 100,000 species. Mushrooms are divided into higher and lower ones. Mushrooms that form large fruiting bodies (eaten) – macromycetes, belong to the sub-kingdom of higher mushrooms. They are divided into ascomycetes (marsupials) and basidiomycetes.
