What path does the air travel through when mammals breathe?

Breathing includes 2 opposite processes: inhalation and exhalation. During inhalation, air flows through the airways to the place of gas exchange. It enters the Nasal Cavity, goes to the Nasopharynx, then to the LARYNX, TRACHEA AND BRONCHI. The bronchi branch out into bronchioles, which end with pulmonary vesicles. The collection of pulmonary vesicles is the LUNGS – the place of gas exchange, where oxygen enters the blood, and carbon dioxide enters the pulmonary vesicles. During exhalation, the air moves in the opposite direction.
