What period do we call the Turkic era and why?

We call the period from the 6th century the Türkic era. 10 c. Most of the population of the Turkic era are nomads. In the 6th century. the First Turkic Khaganate was formed, which included lands from the Caucasus to the Crimea in the west and to China in the east. From 682 to 744, the Second Turkic Khaganate was formed. The period of the Uyghur Kaganate’s rule in the steppes of Central Asia in 744-840. characterized by the subordination of the Altai tribes. Later, the tribes were ruled by the Yenisei Kyrgyz (Kyrgyz Kaganate). The main Turkic monuments were burial mounds, memorial complexes, “stone women”. Also of interest are petroglyphs, rock paintings, elements of Turkic runic writing. The drawings depict hunting scenes, horsemen and animals, snakes and birds. In the area of ​​the Bolshoy Yaloman River in Gorny Altai, excavations of a Turkic settlement were carried out. The Turks were skilled metallurgists and mined iron ore.
