What planets are there?

There are currently 8 planets in the solar system, which can be divided into terrestrial planets – Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars and gas giants – Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune. Until 2006, the solar system was the ninth planet – Pluto, which was “demoted”, and now it is officially considered a dwarf planet. There are also satellites that differ from planets in smaller size and in that they revolve around the planet, and not around the sun. For example, the Earth has the moon, Mars has the satellites Phobos and Deimos, Pluto has Charon, Jupiter has 69 satellites, the most famous of which are Europa, Io, Ganymede, Callisto, Saturn has 62 satellites, the most famous of which are Titan and Enceladus.
Outside the solar system, there are also planets called exoplanets, for example in the Alpha Centauri system or Gliese.
