What plants are adapted for overwintering?

Some herbs are able to survive the harsh winter. These are mainly some types of weeds. And then, if the winter is cold, but the snow does not fall, then these plants will not live to see the warming. Trees, on the other hand, are able to calmly endure the winter. These are both evergreen and ordinary trees. Although ordinary apple trees, birches, willows and others seem to be frozen, the life process takes place in them all the time. The same goes for bushes. They, like trees, tolerate cold. Some of the bushes are evergreen. But there are not as many of them as trees.
