Algae are inferior plants. since their body does not have real tissues and organs.
Higher plants, unlike algae, have organs that are made up of real tissues. Those higher plants that reproduce by spores are called higher spore plants. These include;
– mosses (cuckoo flax, sphagnum);
– lymphoids (club-shaped lymphoid);
– horsetails (field horsetail);
– ferns (bracken, duckweed, ostrich, swimming salvinia).
Moss organs – stem and leaves. The root first appeared in lymphoids.
